Winter Is Here...

…Well, not really. But it’s coming.

Here is some video work that I created with Tundra during my weekend trip to L.A. last month. Everything about this was improvised. From the meeting to the wardrobe to the decision to create some video work.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Tundra was not on my schedule of people to shoot while I was out in L.A. I just happened to be scrolling through Twitter while I was sitting in the airport waiting for my plane to begin board when I saw a tweet of hers that a photographer friend of mine has retweeted. I sent her a message asking if she'd be interested in being photographed when I landed in L.A., about three hours from the time that I sent the message and at 8:00pm. Tundra and I had never spoken prior to this, so at best I thought I'd a get a "That's too short notice", but was definitely prepared for a "I don't even know who you are and you're asking me to come see you at 8:00 at night?" But to my surprise, she was down and an hour after I got to my Airbnb, she sent a text saying that she was out front.

Not only did this result in some dope images and this video, but we also hung out, ate ramen, and talked for a good two hours after we were done creating stuff. I think it's safe to say that we're friends now. I'll definitely be reaching out to her when I'm back in L.A. in January.

Anyways... Enjoy this video.
