Since September I've been planning a trip to Canada (among other places outside of the U.S.) with a friend of mine. Back in December I applied for and received my passport, and yesterday, finally booked a flight to Toronto.
I don't know what I'm going to do in Toronto as of now, but I'm in talks with someone that I met years ago via Twitter to see if we can finally meet up and she can show me around for a day or two. I'm also waiting on some email responses from a few local models that I've contacted in hopes of connecting with them to photograph them.
As of the writing of this post, the friend who I initially started making plans for this trip with isn't able to join me, so I may be making the trip alone (maybe, I have another person I've asked to join me and they might be coming along). But either way, this is something I'm looking forward to a lot as, even though it's not very far, it will be my first time out of the United States and hopefully the beginning on my travels out of the country; London, Australia, and Japan are next on my list.
If you're in Toronto or familiar with the city and the surrounding areas, please let me know places I need to visit, things I need to do/see and places where the food is great, and if you're a model or artist willing to be photographed shoot me an email so we can set something up (use the contact page).
